Sample Assessments

Below are 8-item sample tests to give you an idea of how 21st Century Skills Assessment uses a psychometrically validated blend of interactive, performance-based questions that allow students to authentically perform complex tasks in simulated applications, and multiple choice, knowledge-based questions. Actual 21st Century Skills Assessment tests are longer in length, and use multiple items to assess each skill area.

NOTE: Students see 8 instruction screens before the first sample item. For sampling purposes, the "Turn In Test" button is inactive and will close the sample test.

View Elementary School Sample The Elementary School version of 21st Century Skills Assessment is specifically designed to measure the technology knowledge and skills required by the end of fifth-grade. It is written at a third-grade reading level.

View Middle School Sample The Middle School version of 21st Century Skills Assessment is specifically designed to measure the technology knowledge and skills required by the end of eight-grade. It is written at a sixth-grade reading level.
