Position Summary
Learning.com territory managers build and maintain business relationships with new and existing customers through consultative/strategic selling skills leading to the sale of Learning.com products and related professional development programs in the K-12 education marketplace. The Territory Manager is a field-based sales position and is responsible for selling Learning.com products to school districts within the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive territory and account strategy plans
Initiate/expand key district and state relationships within territory
Work to maintain and grow sales to current installed base
Conduct successful sales presentations and product demonstrations
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities
Accurately forecast business opportunities
Manage pipeline, report on territory initiatives, trends, etc.
Manage travel and regional marketing expenses within budget
Effectively utilize company systems for CRM, travel planning, resource sharing
Existing relationships within districts in assigned territory preferred
3-5 years sales experience
Four year college degree
Must be able to travel 75% time
